Senior Portraits, Baby Pictures, and Quotes are due by November 3, 2023

BHS ARROW YEARBOOK 2023-2024
YEARBOOK SENIOR PORTRAIT SECTION INSTRUCTIONS
Each senior will be given 1/6 of a page in the yearbook to include room for 1 formal portrait, 1 baby picture, and ONE quote only. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL the directions below to make this process easier for both you and the yearbook staff!
Failure to do so may result in your absence from the yearbook.
Students without submitted portraits will have only their name on a separate page.
Please READ and COMPLETE all of the following before any submissions:
1. A QUOTE AND YOUR NAME

YOUR NAME IN THE EMAIL SUBJECT LINE EXACTLY AS YOU WOULD LIKE IT TO APPEAR IN THE YEARBOOK.

ONE QUOTE (50 words or less, no exceptions. Inappropriate quotes will be removed).

Students may not attribute quotes to teachers, parents, or peers.

You must submit your completed materials with your FULL NAME in the SUBJECT through your BARRINGTONSCHOOLS.ORG account ONLY.
2. SENIOR PORTRAIT
A color or black and white formal must be submitted via your school email account to BarringtonHighSchoolYearbook@gmail.com unless your photographer is submitting it by November 3rd, 2023.
SUBMISSIONS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY- if photographer submits portrait separately please supply them with this form - you are still responsible for name, baby pic, and quote to be sent in by due date.

Digital photos must be formatted with the following specifications.

Student’s first and last name included in the filename, and saved in a JPEG or TIF format

A minimum size of 640 pixels wide by 800 pixels in height

A minimum resolution of 300 dpi and using RGB color

A formal headshot, where 50% or more of the photo focuses on the face

PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE PROPS OR OTHER PEOPLE. (animals, sports equipment, costumes, musical instruments or any other props are not permitted).

3. BABY PICTURE
Baby pictures will also need to be submitted digitally.You are responsible for providing a scanned copy and including them in the SAME email with your portrait and quote.
***ALL ITEMSABOVE MUST ARRIVE IN ONE EMAIL !!***
Failure to send all items* in one email will indicate to our staff that you are intentionally omitting that item (ex. Emails received with a portrait and a quote alone will indicate to our staff that the student does not want to include a baby picture).Students may omit either the baby picture or quote or both.To be included, however, we must receive a formal senior portrait.
*with the exception of your photographer sending your senior portrait.
FIRST SENIOR TO SUBMIT ALL THEIR MATERIALS ACCURATELY WINS A FREE YEARBOOK!!!!!!

When submitting your materials, please e-mail them to BarringtonHighSchoolYearbook@gmail.com before the deadline. If you have any questions please email us as soon as possible.
Late materials or failure to follow these instructions exactly may result in your absence from the yearbook!
IMPORTANT NOTE: The yearbook staff will make every effort to insure that your materials are represented correctly in the yearbook, but will not refund or compensate individuals for errors of any kind. This is a student driven club.
